Monster Day Tours
Singapore by Night River Boat Tour with Dinner
4.2 (3) · from $78

A dinner cruise in Singapore can mean three quite different evenings: a 90-minute river ride with a bento dinner, a private yacht to the Southern Islands, or a Christmas feast on a tall ship. I compared three on GetYourGuide, from $78 to $637. For every boat trip I looked at, see my guide to boat tours in Singapore. Prices are in US dollars, checked in October 2026, and the booking links are affiliate links, as I explain on my about page.
My pick for a dinner cruise in Singapore is the Monster Day Tours river cruise with dinner at $78, because it is the only shared one that is not a seasonal event. I haven’t been on any of these boats, so my picks rest on the listings and review snippets.
Here are the three Singapore dinner cruises side by side. Durations, inclusions and cancellation terms come from the listings.
| Cruise | Operator | Price | Duration | Boat type | Rating | Cancellation |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| River cruise with dinner | Monster Day Tours | $78 per person | 1.5 hours | Small group river boat | 4.2 (3) | Free up to 24 hours |
| Private sunset dinner on a 34 ft yacht | Wanderlust Adventures | $637 per trip | 4 hours | Private yacht | 5.0 (1) | Free up to 24 hours |
| Christmas dinner on the Royal Albatross | Tall Ship Adventures | $229 per person | 2.5 hours | Tall ship | No reviews | Free up to 24 hours |

Wanderlust Adventures Pte Ltd
My pick: A private sunset dinner yacht for $637 per trip, four hours. One 5.0 review, so ask the operator about capacity.
Night tourTall Ship Adventures
My pick: A December Christmas dinner on a tall ship for $229 per person. No reviews yet, and the listing shows no dates.
A dining cruise in Singapore, or a dinner cruise in Singapore as most visitors search for it, is shorter and cheaper on the river than at sea. The Monster Day Tours trip is 1.5 hours and serves a three-course bento dinner on board. The Royal Albatross Christmas dinner is 2.5 hours and serves four courses, with a seven-course upgrade, free-flow soft drinks and live entertainment. The private yacht serves a three-course meal with a bottle of white wine, and any fish you catch can be BBQ-ed as a bonus dish.
That makes the price per hour $52 on the river, $92 on the tall ship and about $159 per trip-hour on the yacht. Per person, the river dinner is the lowest. Only the river cruise and the tall ship list what type of food is served in detail, and none of the three says whether vegetarian meals are offered, so I’d write to the operator before booking if you have a dietary need.
A Singapore night cruise comes in more flavours than a dinner. For $23 to $27, the night tours from Chope Your Tour, Wanderlust Ventures and TRIVISTA add a river ride to the Garden Rhapsody and Spectra shows, but no dinner on board. They are listed on my River Cruise Singapore page. If you want to eat on the water, the dinner cruises here are the only options on my list.
The Wanderlust Ventures starry night tour at $77 sits between the two: it includes street food at Lau Pa Sat before the boat, not a dinner on it. After dark the river and the Marina Bay skyline are the main sights, while the Royal Albatross sails along the Sentosa coastline, with the island’s lights instead of the central business district.
The dinner cruise in Singapore on the river on my list starts at WaterB River Cruise at Fort Canning, where you meet the guide 15 minutes before the tour, wearing a yellow polo shirt. The boat passes Boat Quay, Merlion Park, Marina Bay, Esplanade Park, Robertson Quay and Clarke Quay, and returns to the start. The listing includes an English-speaking guide, the river cruise admission and dinner for each paying person.
Children have complimentary admission but no dinner. Reviewers say the guide was knowledgeable and the food nice, and one wrote that there were problems with the booking, which the guide handled well. With three reviews and a 4.2, it is a thin record, but it is the only shared Singapore river dinner cruise in the data.
If you want a dinner cruise on the Singapore River itself, remember that the Royal Albatross and the private yacht do not sail it. They leave from Sentosa and head to the Southern Islands or along the island’s coast. The yacht trip does include a cruise to Marina Bay Sands and the Singapore Flyer after dinner, according to the listing, so the skyline is part of it.
On the river, the Monster Day Tours route covers about 1.0 km between Merlion Park and Clarke Quay in a straight line, based on my place data. That is a short stretch of water, which is why the cruise lasts only 1.5 hours. For the plain river rides without dinner, see my River Cruise Singapore page.
A sunset cruise in Singapore depends on when the sun goes down, and in the tropics that barely moves. I calculated the sunset for the 15th of each month at Marina Bay from the sunrise-sunset.org API in Singapore time. The earliest sunset is 6:52 PM in November and the latest 7:22 PM in February.
| Month | Sunset | Month | Sunset |
|---|---|---|---|
| January | 7:16 PM | July | 7:17 PM |
| February | 7:22 PM | August | 7:14 PM |
| March | 7:17 PM | September | 7:04 PM |
| April | 7:10 PM | October | 6:54 PM |
| May | 7:07 PM | November | 6:52 PM |
| June | 7:12 PM | December | 7:02 PM |
The private yacht is the trip sold as a sunset dinner: four hours, meeting at One Degree 15 Marina at Sentosa, with dinner on Lazarus Island, a second sail to Marina Bay Sands afterwards and an option to learn fishing. The listing gives no start time, so ask for one that gets you to Lazarus Island before sunset.
The river dinner cruise lists Marina Bay with a sunset tag in its itinerary, so it is the shared sunset cruise in Singapore I would pick, though its listing has no start time. Because the sun sets within a half hour range all year, a mid-afternoon or early-evening departure should catch it in any month, but ask the operator which departure is closest to the sunset on your date.
For a weather check the day before, the Meteorological Service Singapore publishes forecasts, and Singapore’s afternoon thunderstorms can cloud over the sunset. All three cruises offer a full refund up to 24 hours ahead, so you can move the date when the forecast changes.
The Christmas dinner on the Royal Albatross is a December product, sailing along the Sentosa coastline, and its listing gives no calendar dates or start times. You find the tall ship opposite the Singapore Oceanarium, near Adventure Cove Water Park, which is about 2.6 km from the One Degree 15 Marina in my place data. It includes decorations, Christmas goodies, free-flow soft drinks and live entertainment.
I can’t give you the dates, because the listing only shows a date picker, so check which December evenings are open when you book. Children under 2 are not suitable, and non-folding wheelchairs are not allowed. The same operator runs a regular sunset dinner cruise on this ship in other months, but it is not among the products I compare.
Here is how I’d decide on a dinner cruise in Singapore in three questions.
For a wider view, my guide to every Singapore boat trip I compared covers the river tours, fishing yachts and the amphibious duck boat. And Harbour Advisor has more cities to explore.
In my data a dinner cruise in Singapore costs $78 per person for the 1.5-hour river cruise with a bento dinner. The Christmas dinner on the Royal Albatross is $229 per person for 2.5 hours, and the private sunset yacht with a three-course meal is $637 for the trip. All prices are in US dollars, checked in October 2026.
Sunset stays between 6:52 PM in November and 7:22 PM in February, using the 15th of each month. That means every dinner cruise in Singapore can plan for a start in the late afternoon. The table on this page lists all twelve months, calculated for Marina Bay from the sunrise-sunset.org API.
It is a December event on the Royal Albatross tall ship, sold for the Christmas season only. The listing gives no calendar dates or start times, just a date picker, and it has no reviews yet. Check which dates are open on the booking page before you plan around it. It costs $229 per person and lasts 2.5 hours.
Yes. All three dinner cruises I compared offer a full refund if you cancel at least 24 hours before the start. That matters in Singapore because an evening shower can change a sunset plan. Ask the operator what happens if the weather stops the boat from sailing, since the listings don't spell that out.
The river dinner cruise meets at WaterB River Cruise at Fort Canning. The Royal Albatross tall ship sits opposite the Singapore Oceanarium on Sentosa, near Adventure Cove Water Park. The private yacht meets at One Degree 15 Marina at Sentosa, where you wait on the sofa outside the Wok15 restaurant on the first floor.
Yes. The Wanderlust Adventures sunset dinner yacht is private, 34 feet long and costs $637 for the trip. It lasts four hours and includes a three-course meal, a bottle of white wine and water. It has one review, a 5.0, so ask the operator about capacity and the route before you book.
