A party boat in Barcelona is a catamaran cruise along the city beaches with a DJ or music, drinks and a crowd of travellers, and there are three I’d look at. I compared them on GetYourGuide: the Catamaran Sensation cruise at $56, the Stoke Travel boat party at $58 and the Golasha boat party plus nightlife tour at $95. For every other kind of trip, my page on boat tours in Barcelona compares all 18 side by side.
My pick in one line: for a party boat in Barcelona with a swim and food, I’d book Catamaran Sensation at $56, and for the classic DJ boat with a club afterwards I’d book Stoke Travel at $58. Prices are in US dollars from the listings, checked in October 2026, and booking links are affiliate links.

Catamaran Sensation
My pick: My party-boat pick: $56, 3 hours, swim stop, BBQ and two drinks, 4.3 from 1,985 reviews.
A Barcelona party cruise is a good fit when you want more than a DJ. The Catamaran Sensation boat leaves Port Olimpic for 3 hours, anchors near Badalona for a swim, and serves a BBQ meal with grilled veal or veggie burgers, Spanish omelette, crudites, chips, olives and fruit. Drinks are unlimited soft drinks plus two beers or sangrias. The listing mentions upbeat music and a crew that leads choreography, and it offers cruises at 11:00, 14:30 and 18:00. It scores 4.3 from 1,985 reviews.
One thing to get right: the listing tells you not to enter the marina area. Instead you walk to the beach between Torre Mapfre and Hotel Arts in Port Olimpic. Bring towels and sun protection, which the listing lists as not included.
The Original Barcelona Boat Party from Stoke Travel is the other main boat party in Barcelona. It is a 2-hour catamaran cruise with room for up to 100 guests, a resident DJ, four drink coupons for beer, sangria and soft drinks, and free guest-list entry to a beach club. The listing mentions a pregame at the Coconut Club and a crew it describes as playful and a little saucy. Monday and Tuesday departures use a smaller sailboat. It meets at Icebar Barcelona. The rating is 4.1 from 445 reviews.

Stoke Travel
My pick: The classic boat party: $58, 2 hours, DJ, four drinks and club entry, 4.1 from 445 reviews.
The three boats feel different, and the listings tell you how. On Stoke Travel you share a deck with up to 100 other guests, so expect a crowd, a DJ and a lot of people on their own or in small groups. On Catamaran Sensation the day cruises add a swim and a meal, so the mood is closer to a floating beach day than a nightclub. On the Golasha package the boat is only the opening act of a longer evening that keeps going after you step ashore.
A few practical points follow from the data. Bring a towel and sun protection for the swim cruise, because the listing says they are not included. Arrive early at the Icebar Barcelona meeting point, because both the Stoke Travel and Golasha hosts collect guests there. And pace the drinks: four coupons or two beers go quickly, and the cruises on the sea are lively. If you want to book a party boat in Barcelona for a group, I’d email the operator before you book, because the listings do not describe private party hire.
| Boat | Operator | Price | Rating (reviews) | Duration | Drinks and food | Meeting point |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Catamaran party cruise with BBQ | Catamaran Sensation | $56 | 4.3 (1,985) | 3 hours | Unlimited soft drinks, 2 beers or sangrias, BBQ meal | Beach between Torre Mapfre and Hotel Arts |
| The Original Barcelona Boat Party | Stoke Travel | $58 | 4.1 (445) | 2 hours | 4 drink coupons (beer, sangria, soft drinks) | Icebar Barcelona |
| Boat party plus nightlife tour | Golasha Experience | $95 | 5.0 (8) | 6.5 hours | 4 drinks on board | Icebar Barcelona |
All three Barcelona party boats allow free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure for a full refund. None of the listings I have states a minimum age, so check the booking page if you plan to bring anyone under 18.
Anyone searching for booze cruise Barcelona reviews wants to know whether it is worth the money. On the numbers, the two big party boats in Barcelona are good but not spotless. Catamaran Sensation has 1,985 reviews at 4.3, and recent reviewers in the listing praise a friendly crew, the BBQ and swimming about 3 km offshore. Stoke Travel has 445 reviews at 4.1, which makes it the lowest-rated of all 18 trips in my comparison. A rating around 4 for a party boat usually means big crowds and loud music, which is exactly what some people want.
The Golasha package scores 5.0 from 8 reviews. That is far too few to trust, so I treat it as promising rather than proven.
Night tourGOLASHA EXPERIENCE, S.L.
My pick: Boat party plus nightlife tour: $95, 6.5 hours, four drinks and a live DJ, 5.0 from only 8 reviews.
People type party boat Barcelona to Ibiza into Google, and I have to be straight: none of the 18 trips I compared sails to Ibiza. All three party boats stay on the Barcelona coast and bring you back the same day. If you want Ibiza, you are looking at a ferry or a flight, which I have not compared on this site.
For a boat party in Barcelona in August, the useful number is sunset. I calculated it from the city’s coordinates for the 15th of the month using sunrise-sunset.org: about 8:52 pm. That means the 18:00 Catamaran Sensation departure is still in full daylight, and a party that ends around 8 pm finishes before dark. My page on a sunset cruise in Barcelona lists the time for every month if you want to match a party to the light. The listings I have do not mention a seasonal schedule, so check the available dates for your August trip before you plan around them.
The Golasha Experience is the longest of the three and works differently. You start on the boat with a live DJ, party games, four drinks and a photographer. After you return to shore there is free time to eat or freshen up, then you meet the hosts at 10:45 pm in the city centre for a nightlife tour of lively venues. The title says it runs Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It costs $95 and does not include transport between venues.
If you want a drink and a view but no dance floor, a sailing trip is quieter, and my page on sailing in Barcelona compares four of them. For a premium night, see my yacht charter in Barcelona page, and for a daytime swim there is the snorkeling tour in Barcelona page. Whichever party boat in Barcelona you pick, free cancellation lasts until 24 hours before the start, so you can still watch the weather. For all 18 trips, go back to my guide to Barcelona boat tours, or start from the Harbour Advisor home page.
I compared three on GetYourGuide. The Catamaran Sensation cruise is $56 for 3 hours, the Stoke Travel boat party is $58 for 2 hours, and the Golasha boat party plus nightlife tour is $95 for 6.5 hours. All prices are in US dollars and all three have free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure.
All three. Stoke Travel includes four drink coupons for beer, sangria and soft drinks. Catamaran Sensation includes unlimited soft drinks and two beers or sangrias after the swim, plus a BBQ meal. Golasha includes four drinks on board. None of the listings describes an open bar with unlimited alcohol.
Not in my data. None of the 18 boat trips I compared leaves Barcelona for Ibiza. All three party boats sail along the Barcelona coast and return the same day, and the longest, the Golasha trip, is 6.5 hours including a nightlife tour. For Ibiza, check ferry operators directly.
It depends on the boat. Stoke Travel and Golasha both tell you to meet at Icebar Barcelona. Catamaran Sensation tells you not to enter the marina but to go to the beach between Torre Mapfre and Hotel Arts in Port Olimpic. Check the meeting point on each booking page before you go.
On ratings, it is mixed. Catamaran Sensation scores 4.3 from 1,985 reviews and Stoke Travel scores 4.1 from 445, the lowest in my comparison. Golasha scores 5.0 but from only 8 reviews. I'd pick the boat for the crowd, the music and the price, not for a quiet evening.
Between 2 and 6.5 hours. The Stoke Travel party is a 2-hour cruise, the Catamaran Sensation cruise is 3 hours with a swimming stop, and the Golasha package is 6.5 hours because it adds free time and a nightlife tour that meets at 10:45 pm in the city centre.
