Cabo San Lucas Boat Trips – Sunset Pirate Ship Cruise with Dinner Show

A dinner cruise in Cabo San Lucas is a sunset boat trip where dinner is served on board, and I compared four, from $99 to $199, lasting 2 to 3 hours: two listings of the same pirate ship, a catamaran buffet and a chef-dinner yacht. For the other boats I compared, see my guide to boat tours in Cabo San Lucas. Prices are in US dollars, checked in October 2026, and booking links are affiliate links, as I explain on my about page.

My pick for a dinner cruise in Cabo San Lucas is the pirate ship at $99 if you want an evening out with a show, and the Sun Rider catamaran at $115 if you want a quieter buffet.

Private Dinner Cruise Cabo San Lucas

A private dinner cruise in Cabo San Lucas is not one of the four trips here: all are shared boats. For a private evening, the private 38-foot sailboat on my sailing page lists food and drinks and sunset sails, at $600 for 3 hours. I haven’t seen a menu for it, so ask the operator what dinner looks like.

On a shared boat, the number of guests matters. A reviewer of the chef-dinner yacht counted around 20 guests and 8 crew, which gave a lively but not crowded evening. The pirate ship and the catamaran are bigger and busier, with a show or a dance floor.

Pirate Dinner Cruise Cabo San Lucas

The pirate dinner cruise in Cabo San Lucas is the Wild Cabo show. It costs $99, lasts 2 hours and is sold as two listings: one with 4.4 from 125 reviews, the other 4.4 from 59. Both describe a pirate galleon sailing the Sea of Cortez with a crew that dances, chants and climbs the ropes, a BBQ dinner of ribs, chicken and pork with mashed potatoes, corn and coleslaw, and an open bar with beer, vodka, tequila and sodas.

The itinerary gives about an hour at the Arch for the sunset cruise, 30 to 45 minutes for dinner and 30 minutes for the dance show. You check in at Dock 0 behind the Breathless Resort, 30 to 45 minutes before boarding, and pay the $5 dock and protected-area fee in cash. The listing says it is not suitable for pregnant women or people prone to seasickness.

Cabo San Lucas Pirate Ship Dinner Cruise

A Cabo San Lucas pirate ship dinner cruise is a theatre night more than a meal, so pick it for the show. Reviewers say the pirates put on a great show, the dinner was surprisingly delicious and the sunset at the Arch was amazing. One reviewer says there was plenty to eat. Another wrote that they would not recommend it for a quiet night, which fits a boat full of costumed crew.

There is no age limit in the listings. I’d bring children only if they like noise, and I’d take a motion-sickness tablet if you are prone to it, since the listing warns about seasickness. Both listings refund in full if you cancel up to 24 hours ahead.

Sunset Dinner Cruise Cabo San Lucas

A sunset dinner cruise in Cabo San Lucas on the Sun Rider catamaran suits a calmer group. It costs $115 for 2.5 hours and has 4.5 from 52 reviews. The boat is a double-deck catamaran with a dance floor and 360-degree views. The price includes the Mexican buffet and an open bar with rum, tequila, vodka, gin and cocktails. Extras: premium drinks at $7 each, the lobster dinner at $20 and the $5 dock fee, paid in cash.

You meet in front of the Sr. Frogs store, between Cabo Dolphins and the craft market, and check in 30 minutes before the start. One reviewer says the time management let each landmark get its due, and another says it was expensive if you don’t drink. I’d take the point: much of the price is the open bar.

Caborey Dinner Cruise Cabo San Lucas

The Caborey dinner cruise in Cabo San Lucas appears on the Google Maps list as a place, but I found no Caborey product on GetYourGuide, so I cannot give you a price or a rating for it. If you are looking for a specific boat by name, check the operator’s own site and compare it to the four trips here.

What I can say is that the four boats I have data for cover three styles: a show, a buffet and a chef-prepared dinner. Any other dinner boat will sit somewhere between those.

Dinner Boat Cruises Cabo San Lucas

Dinner boat cruises in Cabo San Lucas also include the most expensive in my data. The Wild Cabo chef-dinner yacht costs $199 for 3 hours and has 4.2 from 31 reviews. It offers dinner with fish, chicken or vegan options, beer, wine and mixed drinks, live music and games with an MC, hotel pickup and gratuities. The listing says it overlooks the Arch at sunset, and the itinerary gives 2 hours of cruising and 1 hour for dinner.

It is not for children under 18. The reviews I read are good: one says it was hands down one of the highlights of the trip. With only 31 reviews I’d still look at the latest before paying nearly twice the price of the pirate ship. A closer look at the yacht is on my yacht charter page.

What to Bring on a Dinner Cruise

For a dinner cruise in Cabo San Lucas I’d bring cash for the $5 dock fee that the pirate ship and Sun Rider listings ask for, a light jacket for the breeze after sunset, and a charged phone. Dress is casual on the pirate ship and the catamaran; the chef yacht is more relaxed than formal, but the listing does not set a dress code.

Dietary needs matter. The chef yacht lists vegan dinner as an option, and the pirate ship and Sun Rider menus list meat and cheese. Ask the operator in advance if you eat differently. A dinner cruise in Cabo San Lucas runs on a timetable, so be at the dock early.

Per head, the pirate ship is the cheapest dinner at $99 and the chef yacht the dearest at $199, and the open bar is a large part of every price. If you don’t drink, ask whether a cheaper booking is possible, because the listings do not show one. The pirate ship listings set no age limit, but the chef yacht excludes children under 18, so plan your table accordingly.

How I’d Choose a Dinner Cruise in Cabo San Lucas

For a lively first evening, I’d book the pirate ship. For a buffet and a dance floor, the Sun Rider catamaran. For a plated dinner without children, the chef yacht. The sunset times by month are on my sunset cruise page.
