Every city guide on Harbour Advisor compares the boat tours you can actually book there: sightseeing cruises, sunset sails, dinner cruises, snorkeling trips, private charters and boat rentals. Here's how those pages are put together.
Where the facts come from
- Tours: price, duration, review score, number of reviews, inclusions, meeting point and itinerary come from each tour's GetYourGuide listing.
- Places: piers, harbors and sights are checked against Google Maps.
- Rules and practical facts (licences, fares, seasons, park fees) are taken from official or high-authority sources: tourism boards, port and transport authorities, government sites.
If a fact can't be confirmed from one of those sources, it's left out rather than guessed.
How picks are made
I group tours by what you'd want them for (first visit, sunset, families, a private boat, a day trip to an island) and compare them on price, time on the water, route, group size, what's included and what reviewers keep mentioning. Ratings with only a handful of reviews count for less than ratings backed by hundreds.
Updates and corrections
Tours change: new operators appear, prices move, routes close for the season. Time-limited facts are logged and rechecked. If you spot something that's out of date or wrong, please tell me and I'll fix it.
Independence
Operators can't pay for a listing, a ranking or a review. The site earns commission on bookings through GetYourGuide, as explained in theaffiliate disclosure.
