Boat Tours Mallorca – 5-Hour Catamaran Cruise with Lunch & Swim

A catamaran in Mallorca is the standard answer to a boat trip: a wide, stable deck, a swim stop in a bay and lunch on board. Four catamarans in Mallorca in my data cost $45 to $76 and last 2 to 5 hours, three leaving from Palma and one from Alcúdia in the north. Everything below comes from the operators’ listings on GetYourGuide: prices, ratings, durations, meeting points, what is included and cancellation. For the full list of Mallorca cruises see my guide to boat tours in Mallorca. I haven’t been on any of these boats, so my picks rest on the data and the review snippets. Prices are in US dollars, checked in October 2026, and the booking links are affiliate links, as I explain on my about page.

My pick: the Magic Catamarans 5-hour cruise at $66, because 12,501 guests rate it 4.6, lunch with wine and sangria is in the price and it boards in central Palma. For a lower price and a shorter day, I’d take the Life and Sea Mallorca catamaran at $45, and the whole page below compares what each catamaran in Mallorca includes before you pay.

Catamaran Mallorca Palma

A catamaran in Mallorca, Palma-style, starts at the waterfront. Magic Catamarans boards at the boat dock in front of the Auditorium de Palma on Passeig Marítim, where you look for a boat labelled Magic Catamarans. It sails the south coast to Portals Vells or Cala Vella depending on the wind, with the first stop for a swim and a snorkel and a second stop to swim again. The listing includes a buffet meal, wines and sangria with the meal, water, soft drinks, coffee and juice all trip, snorkeling equipment against a 10 euro refundable deposit and life vests for adults and children. Guides speak English and Spanish.

Attraction Catamarans is the party-leaning alternative: $62, 4 to 5 hours, rated 4.5 from 3,641 reviews. The listing mentions a modern catamaran, sails raised for part of the trip, one swimming stop at Cala Vella, an onboard DJ, a professional photographer and a gourmet buffet lunch or dinner. Drinks from the bar are not included, snorkel gear is for sale on board at 20 euros and a towel costs 8 euros. One detail from the meeting point: enter the Golondrinas marina rather than waiting in front of the Auditorium.

Palma Catamaran Tour

A Palma catamaran tour can be a lunch cruise or a dinner cruise, and the difference matters for the light. Attraction Catamarans offers a lunch or dinner option, and its itinerary lists a sunset at Cala Vella. Magic Catamarans runs a morning or afternoon format, as the reviewers describe. My pick between these two Mallorca catamaran cruises is simple: for daylight swimming I’d take Magic, and for golden hour on the water I’d take the Attraction dinner option. I would check the start time on the date you want, because the operators set it by the season.

The Life and Sea cruise sits at the budget end. It leaves from the Arenal Yacht Club, on the beach side of the bay, and sails towards Cap Enderrocat and Cala Vella. The listing calls it a sailing catamaran and includes snorkeling equipment, life vests, a swim stop and hotel pickup and drop-off. A BBQ is included only on the option marked With BBQ, with water, beer or sangria. It lasts 2 to 4 hours, costs $45 and is rated 4.3 from 3,236 reviews, with guides in Spanish, English, German, French and Italian.

Mallorca Boat Tours

Mallorca boat tours are not all catamarans, and the catamaran is the one I’d start with if you have never been on the water in Mallorca. It is stable, it carries a large group, and it gives the best price per hour: $62 to $76 for 4 to 5 hours with a meal, against $100 to $112 for a sailing yacht and $208 and up for a private boat. Compared with a rental, you don’t steer. Compared with a sailing yacht, you share the deck with more people. The catamaran cruise is also the easiest Mallorca boat trip to book at short notice, to fit around a hotel stay, because hotel pickup and drop-off is listed on some of them, such as Life and Sea. Two of the four also list a morning option, which suits families who want the swim before the afternoon heat. The trade-off is time: a five-hour day is long if you only want a quick swim, and a short cruise such as Sa Calma Boats at $39 may suit that better.

For the full range, including kayaking, rentals and yachts, go to my Mallorca boat tours hub. If you want the same bay under sail, my sailing page compares three trips, and the private boat tour page covers boats that carry only your group.

Catamaran Mallorca Charter

A private catamaran charter in Mallorca is not something I can price: all four catamaran listings in my data are shared cruises that you book by the seat. If you want a boat to yourselves, the yacht charter page compares two crewed yachts and the boat rental page covers self-drive boats. Some local companies in Palma advertise catamaran charters on Google Maps, and you would need to contact them directly for prices.

What I can say about the shared catamarans in Mallorca is how they differ in the north. Brisa, the Transportes Marítimos operator at Puerto Alcúdia, runs the North Coast Catamaran Cruise with Meal for $76: 5 hours, rated 4.5 from 3,246 reviews. The meeting point is the kiosk of Alcudia Sea Trips on Passeig Marítim. The listing includes the crew, a lunch or dinner, two drinks during lunch, canoes and standup paddleboards, and it mentions a morning tour. The snorkel mask is only for sale. Reviewers praise the food and the swimming stops, and one notes that drinks on board are reasonably priced.

What I’d Book

If you can only do one Mallorca catamaran, I’d book Magic Catamarans for the combination of price, meal and the very large number of reviews. If you are on the north coast, Brisa is the one that leaves from Puerto Alcúdia. If you have a tight budget or a short afternoon, Life and Sea is $45 and includes hotel pickup. For a swim-first trip, my snorkeling page compares six trips with gear details.

Whichever catamaran cruise in Mallorca you choose, check the exact meeting point in your confirmation, because the Palma waterfront has more than one dock for these boats, and bring a towel and sun protection.
