• You pay the same price. The commission comes out of GetYourGuide's margin, not out of your pocket.

• Your booking is with GetYourGuide and the operator. Payment, changes, cancellations and refunds are handled by them, under their terms.

How I choose what to recommend

Operators can't pay to be listed or ranked here, and the commission rate is the same whichever tour you book, so there's no reason to push one over another. My picks are based on the data on each listing: price, duration, route and stops, what's included, the review score and the number of reviews, and what recent reviewers say. Prices are shown as "from" prices taken from GetYourGuide when the page was last updated, in US dollars. They change with dates, group size and currency, so the price on the booking page is the one that counts.
