Boat Party with Live DJ, Unlimited Drinks, and Food
4.3 (215) · from $120

Party boat Miami listings come down to two nearly identical three-hour open-bar cruises at $120 and one New Year’s Eve boat at $179, all on Biscayne Bay. I compared them by price, rating, meeting point and what is included, and the differences are smaller than the marketing makes them sound. If you want the wider list of everything that floats, see my guide to boat tours in Miami. Prices are in US dollars, checked in October 2026, and booking links are affiliate links, as I explain on my about page.
My pick for a party boat in Miami is the goya events cruise at $120: it has 4.3 from 215 reviews, the most feedback of the three, and it lists a live DJ and MC, unlimited drinks and food. The competing Miami Experience boat has the same price and a similar rating (4.3 from 84), so I choose on review volume.
A Miami party cruise on these boats runs three hours along the skyline. The goya events listing describes an all-inclusive skyline party with an open bar of whiskey, rum, cognac, tequila, vodka, juices and sodas, a live DJ playing hip hop, R&B, reggae and Latin beats, and snacks including hot dogs, wings and mozzarella sticks. It also lists dance and champagne-shower moments, which tells you the tone: loud and social, with a crowd of strangers.
The boat is for guests aged 21 and over, and the 4.3 rating means some people were not happy. A 4.3 is solid for a crowd product, but it is lower than the 4.7 and 4.8 scores of the private boats, so scan the latest reviews for your date.

Party boat Miami rental is a different product from a ticketed boat party: you rent the whole boat and bring the playlist. In my data, the closest are the private boats on the yacht charter in Miami page and the boat rental in Miami page, both of which let you play your own music through a Bluetooth speaker. The Ocean Sunrise Exclusive Private Boat Guided Tour takes up to 12 passengers and offers a 4-hour half-day option for birthdays, bachelorette parties and special events, with anchoring next to other boats.
The trade is money for control. A ticketed party boat is $120 per person with drinks included. A private boat is $255 or more for the whole group, plus captain and fuel fees, and you buy the drinks. For ten people, the private boat is cheaper per head, but only if you bring your own drinks and playlist and everyone agrees on the plan.
Party boat Miami Bayside is the cluster of departures from Bayside Marketplace in Downtown. Both open-bar parties tell you to walk to the Ferris wheel. The goya events listing says Lombardi’s Italian Restaurant is next to it and to find the person in charge of check-in. The Miami Experience Boat Party sends you to Lombardi’s Conga Bar next to the Hard Rock Cafe, also by the Ferris wheel and Bayside Marketplace.
That makes Bayside a practical base: you can eat before the boat, you are in walking distance of the Skyviews Miami Observation Wheel and Bayfront Park, and you can get back to Downtown hotels after the cruise. In a straight line Bayside Marketplace is about 0.6 miles from the Frost Museum of Science. Plan to arrive early, because check-in happens before boarding.
Party boat Miami Beach searches don’t match the boats in my data. All three party boats leave from Downtown or the Venetian Marina on the mainland side, and none lists a Miami Beach pickup. If you are staying on the beach, plan a ride across the causeway and allow time for traffic. Bayside Marketplace is about 2.8 miles from the Miami Beach Marina in a straight line, and a ride from Miami Beach takes longer than that suggests.
The one beach-side option is a captained boat from West Avenue in Miami Beach, which I cover on the boat rental page. It’s a small private boat for up to six, not a party boat. For a party boat, expect to travel to the mainland and to pay for a ride home late at night.
A booze cruise on a Miami party boat means an open bar included in the ticket, and that’s the whole product here. The Miami Experience Boat Party lists a three-hour open bar with whiskey, rum, tequila, vodka, fruit juices and sodas, plus a live DJ and MC and light snacks such as hot dogs, chicken wings, chips, veggie rolls and mozzarella sticks. It costs $120, has 4.3 from 84 reviews, and lists under-21s and people prone to seasickness as unsuitable.
The honest caveat is that an open bar is only worth it if you drink at the pace to match. At $120 for three hours, the value depends on how much you drink, and I can’t tell you how the bar is run, because the listings don’t say. Pace yourself, drink water, eat before you board, and arrange your ride home before you start.

My pick: Same $120, three-hour open bar and live DJ; 4.3 from 84 reviews, so I rank it second on volume.
Party boat Miami Florida also covers one night when everybody wants a boat: New Year’s Eve. Aqua Party Boat sells a three-hour New Year’s Eve party cruise at $179, boarding at 11:00 PM and returning about 2:00 AM, with a view of the midnight fireworks at Bayfront Park from Biscayne Bay. The listing includes a welcome drink, glow accessories and music on board, and sells beer, wine and hard seltzers separately. Food and transport to the departure point are not included, and charcuterie can be bought in advance.
It departs from Venetian Marina and Yacht Club, Pier 3, at 1635 N Bayshore Dr. The rating is 4.6, but from only 7 reviews, so I can’t call it proven. For this date, a boat is the way to avoid the crush at Bayfront Park, but the boat will be full, and a short trip home at 2 AM is your problem to solve, so book your ride in advance.

My pick: One night a year: $179, board 11 PM, midnight fireworks over Bayfront Park, only 7 reviews so far.
A few practical points from the listings. Bring photo ID, because the open-bar boats are restricted to guests aged 21 and over. Arrive at Bayside early for check-in at the Ferris wheel, and eat first, as the snacks are light: hot dogs, wings, chips and similar. The listings do not state an exact boarding time in my data, so the booking confirmation is where to look. If you get seasick, remember that one boat lists people prone to seasickness as unsuitable, and Biscayne Bay can be choppy on windy nights.
Finally, plan the ride home. The boats return to Bayside or Venetian Marina late, and the New Year’s Eve cruise returns about 2:00 AM, when rideshare prices and waits are at their worst. Agree on a pickup point with your group before you go on board.

For a regular night I’d pick the goya events boat, then the Miami Experience boat if the first is sold out. For New Year’s Eve I’d book the Aqua Party Boat cruise early. For a quieter night, I’d skip them all and look at a sunset cruise in Miami, which costs less and has no age limit.
Whichever party boat in Miami you choose, confirm the check-in time, bring ID, eat first and plan the ride home. When you’ve decided, compare your plan with the rest of the list in my guide to boat tours in Miami or start again from the Harbour Advisor home page.
The two open-bar boat parties I compared cost $120 each for three hours on GetYourGuide, and the New Year's Eve cruise from Aqua Party Boat costs $179. Tips and anything outside the included drinks and snacks are extra. A private yacht or boat for the same night costs more, but you split it across the group.
Both $120 boat parties list a three-hour open bar, a live DJ and MC and snacks such as hot dogs, chicken wings and chips. The goya events boat adds food and a skyline route, while The Miami Experience Boat Party lists games and contests. The New Year's Eve cruise includes a welcome drink and glow accessories.
Both open-bar boats check in near the Ferris wheel at Bayside Marketplace, next to the Hard Rock Cafe and Lombardi's Italian Restaurant. The New Year's Eve cruise boards at Venetian Marina, 1635 N Bayshore Dr, Pier 3. Confirm the exact check-in time in your booking email, because boarding closes before departure.
Yes. Both open-bar boat parties list guests under 21 as not allowed, and one also lists people prone to seasickness as unsuitable. The New Year's Eve cruise sells beer, wine and hard seltzers on board. If you are bringing a mixed-age group, a private boat or a sunset cruise is the safer fit.
All three list free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure for a full refund. That makes it safe to book a few weeks ahead for a date you like. The New Year's Eve cruise is a single night, so check the weather and your plans before you pay.
