The extra money buys hotel pickup, drinks, a 15-stop route and a river leg on a high-roofed boat, spread over about four hours from 6 pm.

The detail that changes the decision is the claim itself: the description says Spectra is viewed from the boat, while the cheaper listings say land. I cannot verify the vantage point, so I treat it as the operator's promise.
